Nestled in the heart of Covent Garden, is the Actor’s Church. Famed for being the place where Eliza Doolittle first meets Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, and memorials of Charlie Chaplin and Barbara Windsor to name a few, this stunning church is the heartbeat of the West End and is now home to Musicals by Candlelight.
The connection to theatre began in the 1600s with the birth of Theatre Royal, Drury Lane and was further assured in 1723 with the opening of Covent Garden Theatre – now the Royal Opera House. These two venues became the starting place for London’s iconic West End and remain in St. Paul’s Parish.

Musicals by candlelight showcases the greatest musical theatre songs of all time performed by a world-class string quartet at London’s historic Actors’ Church.

The venue will open 30 mins before the start time of the performance.
There will be a bar inside the venue serving alcoholic and soft drinks. Customers who have purchased a ticket that includes a glass of prosecco can redeem this at the bar. No food is permitted inside the venue.
The venue will be darker during the later performance times due to the sunset.
Wheelchair access is provided by a ramp at the main entrance of the venue. There is also a disabled bathroom inside the venue. Customers with access requirements (including wheelchair users) should contact concerts@todaytixgroup.com to make their booking.
The glass of prosecco can be exchanged for any soft drink available at the bar.
